First of all, I would not now own a house without Shannon Harrington. I had become discouraged with housing prices, and being an artist, thought my income would never suffice to get a loan. My requirements in a house were rather unique too, as I was looking for a home with space for a workshop/art studio, livable but in need of fixing up, where I could apply my contracting skills to add value to it. So it was only after Shannon assured me that there were such properties in my income range that I began to take a serious look at purchasing a house.

Shannon really understood my unique requirements for a house. She found me the perfect one and helped me put it under contract, though there were others who put in bids on it. Because of her persistence, that property is the house I now own. Honestly, I never thought I’d own a house in Charlottesville, and in addition to closing with over $50K in equity on the property, I am now paying less in mortgage payments than I was in rent for an apartment half the size.

I want to add my voice to the chorus of your satisfied clients. I have to be one of the biggest procrastinators in the world, which left me with the house I lived in while doing my doctorate, years after my doctorate was finished and I had moved on. From prior unpleasant experiences that neighbors and friends had with real estate transactions gone awry, I was very reluctant to sell my house. On top of that, it needed all sorts of work that I just did not want to do. I wanted to sell my house "As Is" and still get a fair market price for it. Living 700 miles away, in Florida, didn't help any.

Could I trust a realtor I had never even met to meet my demanding conditions for sale? Obviously.
